    To help people get up and down stairs, a strong rail is fitted to the stairs, and the comfortable stairlifts travels along the rail, gently and carefully.
    The stairlifts works on batteries and can be operated either by remote control or by push-buttons on the chair itself.
    The chair also has a number of safety devices to ensure a quiet and reliable journey.
